Musical careerBefore being famous, she was a co-founder of American vocal group Wilson Philips with her younger sister Wendy and childhood friend Chynna Philips. They released two albums Wilson Philips and Shadows and Light, both the album was hit and was sold more than 12 million copies. In 1993, they released the Christmas album Hey Santa! She also launched her solo album titled For the First Time in 2003.
