She entered into the world of Media as a general assignment reporter at KVUE-TV while she was studying at the University of Texas of Austin School where she had covered burning issues like live breaking news, politics, health and education. She was later hired as a reporter and anchor for WWL in New Orleans. Neville and sportscaster Fred Roggn began to host the show called Arthel and Fred in 1997. It was a daytime entertainment news program. The show ended up a year later. Arthel Neville’s hard work let her to new height in field of media.
Arthel was a reporter for Houston’s KHOU-TV before she took her decision to return to Texas in 1988 where she worked at WVUE as an anchor and reporter. Recognizing the potential of Arthel, she was made a senior correspondent on the News magazine of Fox Network named Fox Files. She also worked as an anchor, correspondent, host of Celebrity Spotlight and weekly contributor on The O’Reilly Factor. She left Fox Network in 2001 and joined CNN in 2002 where she hosted the talk show Talkback Live with Arthel Neville in which she briefed the News of the day. She also used to get involved in live interaction with guests and audience in the show. She also used to host morning and daytime News. She co-hosted weekend news with Anderson Cooper. She has also worked as the West Coast bureau chief in the News show Geraldo-at-large which was on air in 20th Century Television. She also used to be the lead anchor for Fox 5 Morning News in SanDiego. She has also working experience of serving in KSWB-TV where she used to give four hour weekday newscast.
